About Rebecca Hendrix

Rebecca Hendrix Rebecca turned her hobbies of wildlife watching, photography and painting into a full time profession after hurricanes dismantled her business career. She has never looked back, except in appreciation of the change in direction. A self-taught artist, she has built a following of collectors and clients throughout the southeast. She is active in her local art community through gallery representation, board membership, and teaching adults and children. Other than the simple pure joy of painting, her other delight is in helping others discover the artist within. Her paintings are generated from life in the open (plein air excursions and studies), and also studio productions of composites of her photographic adventures, along with commissioned works.
